hello out there

hello out there - my sister keeps putting all those great pictures and i wish i could too. my asl class is progressing nicely. i feel as if i could communicate better. my teaching class is so much fun. i like that i am learning more than i thought. my other classes are good but i hope that i will get good grades. see you guys later.

IKE!!!!!

hello all you out there!!! we have power so almost everything is back to normal. the one thing about Ike is that although my family had minimal damage the effect on the community was and is devastating. trees are down all over and some people are still without power. I feel blessed that I have power and so little damage. My job is intact and although I missed 8 days of work i will be able to make up those hours.

I love you all and thank you for your support through this tough time.

First Post for the new School Year

I started school this week. Both as a job and as a student. After a little trouble with my books I finally got started on all that I can. I made a 100 on my first math test. I hope to continue that trend. My sign language class was a little weird but after the first hour or so I began to understand the professor. My students are wonderful and I am looking forward to the new year.
